What is a channel?

A channel is a place where customers can talk to you. ReplyFront unifies them all into one inbox so the AI and your team can reply from the same place.

Available channels

  • Web widget — the chat bubble on your storefront. Always on, no setup beyond the script tag.
  • Shopify — Theme App Extension installs the widget natively and unlocks order/product tools.
  • Facebook Messenger — reply to people who message your Facebook Page.
  • Instagram DM — reply to your Instagram Business account’s DMs.
  • WhatsApp Cloud API — official Meta WhatsApp Business platform.

How credentials work today

For Meta-owned channels (Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp), you create the integration in your own Meta Business account and paste the credentials into ReplyFront. We encrypt them at rest and never log them.

Why no “Connect with Facebook” button yet?
Embedded Meta OAuth requires a vetted partner status that we’re currently going through. While that’s in review, you keep full control of credentials. The same dashboard will power the embedded flow once we’re cleared.

What you’ll need per channel

  • Messenger / Instagram — Meta App ID + App Secret, Page or Business account ID, Page access token, a verify token (you make this up).
  • WhatsApp — App ID/Secret, Phone Number ID, WABA ID, permanent system user token, verify token.
